Hi, there. I'm Nick Bradford. I'm currently in NYC and SF, working on Cursor cloud agents.
I've been working on AI coding agents since pre-ChatGPT, previously as co-founder/CTO of Ellipsis (YC W24, cloud and code review agents), and founding AI engineer at Grit (codebase migration agents). I was also ML resident at Redwood Research (mechanistic interpretability), engineering manager at Hyperscience (document processing ML), and investment engineer at Bridgewater (world's largest hedge fund).
I believe in taking only what rest is needed to maximize productivity (see the Utopian Oath).
I am a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, and also occasionally make (small) personal angel investments, feel free to get in touch.
